Integra Patient Dental Chair

Specifications for the Integra Patient Dental Chair:

 1. Four-Handed Dentistry Design. The Integra Patient Dental Chair is designed from university and dental school research for the concept of four-handed dentistry. This design allows for correct patient positioning and provides ideal direct vision for the doctor/operator and dental assistant while maintaining correct body posture for better health and comfort. This design maximizes productivity with less stress and fatigue to the doctor and assistant.

 2. Patient Comfort. The ergonomic design of the chair provides for ideal patient comfort. The body form-fitting design of the upholstery, with thickly padded cushions, provide the ultimate in patient comfort. The narrow thin back and arm slings provide for superior patient support and the full concaved seat cushion facilitates proper leg support. The lower lumbar support in the backrest eliminates body strains when the patient is in the reclined operative position, reducing their autonomic response to close their mouth.

 3. Ideal Direct Vision. The narrow thin back provides ideal direct vision for both the doctor and dental assistant. The narrow thin back allows the doctor and assistant to sit close to the patient and to maintain correct body posture, thus reducing stress and fatigue, while maintaining direct vision.

 4. Headrest Positioner. The chair incorporates a uniquely designed headrest positioner to articulate the patient's head for both the maxillary and mandibular positioning, allowing for ideal direct vision for the doctor and dental assistant, while maintaining full patient comfort.

 5. Narrow Thin Back. The narrow thin back allows the doctor and assistant to sit close to the patient and to maintain correct body posture, thus reducing stress and fatigue. By allowing the operator to sit correctly, this design will eliminate back, neck and arm aches and pains.

 6. Sling Armrest. The uniquely designed sling armrests provide excellent patient arm support while allowing accessibility for proper doctor/operator positioning and see-ability. Each armrest locks in the down position, and a finger release unlocks the arms to raise for patient entry and exit.

7. Asepsis Design. The smooth contoured design of the upholstery and the molded plastic covers provide for ideal asepsis with easy cleaning and disinfecting.

 8. Universal Left and Right Handed. The Dentassist unit mount adapter is a rear mounting system that allows positioning of the Dentassist unit either on the left or right of the chair to accommodate all dentists.

 9. Foot Control Operation. The chair is equipped with a multi-function foot control that allows for individual positioning of the chair top and the chair base. The foot control provides for better asepsis and reduces cross infection.

 10. Automatic Positioning. The foot control is equipped with 3 push buttons for automatic positioning both for the operators' work positions and for the patient exiting position. This design provides for greater efficiency and ease of use.

 11. PC Circuit Board. The Integra chair is designed with an automatic programmable circuit board for ease of positioning. The circuit board is the plug-in type and requires only a phillips screwdriver to replace it.

 12. Solid Steel Chair Frame. The Integra chair is designed utilizing 1/2" steel throughout the entire frame, from headrest to toeboard. This steel frame and base provide for extreme stability, rigidity and durability.

 13. Electro Motor and Screw Power Mechanism. The chair has high output, heavy-duty motors in the chair top and chair base, providing smooth, powerful lifting capability.

 14. Rotation. The chair base has a swivel rotation that allows the chair top to be rotated 45 degrees to the left or right.

 15. Seat Tilt. The chair incorporates a uniquely designed motor linkage/track seat tilt mechanism that allows for the seat to raise in the front when the back of the chair is lowered to create ideal body positioning for patient comfort.

 16. Independent Leg-rest. The chair incorporates a unique drive bar assembly that allows the leg-rest to move with the seat and it extends low to the floor position to allow for better patient entry and exiting. The leg-rest raises as the back-rest is lowered to maintain patient body comfort.

 17. Work Accessible Base Plate Design. The chair base plate is a tear drop design that is narrow at the back of the chair, allowing the doctor/operator and assistant to position their operating stools in a close-in position for better comfort.

 18. Concealed Unit Umbilical Tubing. The dental chair is designed to allow the Dentassist unit umbilical supply tubings to be extended through the chair base directly into the junction box; thereby eliminating umbilical tubing's on the floor and providing for better safety and ease of cleaning.

 19. Power Systems. The chair power systems are available in 110 volts or 220 volts. The power requirements must be specified.

  1. Warranty. Integra dental chairs have a one full year component warranty.
