Specifications for the HSP Alabama Mobile Cabinet, Model #304:
- 1. Four-Handed Dentistry Design. The cabinet was designed from university and dental school research to be used with the Dentassist unit to provide proper material and hand instrument organization and delivery.
2. Dental Materials Organizational Center. The Alabama Mobile Cabinet is designed to provide a completely organized center for all dental materials, supplies and static hand instruments.
3. Maximize Productivity. University studies have shown that the Alabama Mobile Cabinet increases the productivity of a Dental Assistant by up to 50%. This is accomplished by providing a finger-tip fully organized materials and instruments center.
4. Accessibility. The front to back sliding top work surface and deep well organizer provides all materials and instruments within easy reach for the Dental Assistant. This design allows for easy transfer of instruments to the Doctor/operator at chairside.
5. Patented Armrest. The Alabama Mobile Cabinet Model #304 has a patented armrest to support the Doctor/operators' left arm when in a working position. The armrest swings in and out, adjusts up and down, for exact positioning for all operators.
6. Deep Well. The Alabama Mobile Cabinet is designed with an 8" deep well to organize and store the required dental materials and will accommodate an amalagator.
7. Divider Insert. The deep well is provided with a divider insert that is a one piece molded plastic organizer for dental materials. This feature raises the materials for ease of reach by the Dental Assistant.
8. Medicament Tub. The Medicament Tub is a one piece molded plastic tub designed to organize dental materials. The tub may be lifted from the Deep Well and placed on the sliding top of the cabinet for ease of access of dental materials by the Dental Assistant or operator.
9. Amalgamator Silencer Platform. The Alabama Mobile Cabinet has a specially designed platform, constructed of plastic over a foam silencer for reducing the noise of the Amalgamator.
10. Mobile Casters. The Alabama Mobile Cabinet is provided with four casters for mobility. The twin rugged double wheel casters provide for easy movement and positioning for the Dental Assistant. The casters glide easily over carpet, tile or vinyl flooring.
11. Power Cord. The Alabama Mobile Cabinet is provided with a power cord for electrical supply for the Amalagator. The cabinet provides a hole in the back of the cabinet for cord accessibility.
12. Waste Receptacle. The Alabama Mobile Cabinet is provided with a waste receptacle that allows the Dental Assistant to dispose of used waste materials. The receptacle is located at finger tip reach on the side of the cabinet.
13. Bump Guard. The Alabama Mobile Cabinet has a one piece molded plastic bump guard at the bottom of the cabinet to reduce damage to the cabinet if bumped by another object.
